Kimberley, Ontario
I believe in wide open spaces and wearing your heart on your sleeve. That there is magic in light. That everyone has a story and I would love to know that story. That images should make you feel something when you see them whether you know the people or not. That you can get your wedding dress dirty, or walk down your aisle barefoot, or stop for an ice cream before your wedding portraits. I believe that you should and CAN make your wedding exactly what you want it to be. You can make it yours.
I'll be by your side to document the connection between you and your loved ones. I capture moments as they naturally unfold and like to create an experience for my clients, rather than just take pretty pictures. I live for the little moments, the quiet and sometimes hidden moments that genuinely show what the day was like. I capture the feeling of the day so you can relive it for years and even generations to come.

Frances Beatty is a documentary style wedding, portrait and family photographer located near Collingwood, Ontario with an oversized heart. Not literally. I don’t think…
Frances has been photographing weddings since 2014 and has travelled the world to document intimate and heartfelt love stories, but she would always prefer to stay and adventure in her own backyard with her clients, in Grey County. She loves showing the beauty that the South Georgian Bay area has to offer to her couples. She is an avid rock climber, trail runner and paddler and loves to explore new areas with anyone willing to get their feet a little wet.
Clients are drawn to Frances’ work because the images feel real, natural, un-staged, and full of love. She has a unique eye for hidden and quiet details that many others miss, along with an unobtrusive presence that keeps her clients and their guests comfortable and relaxed. Her primary focus is on creating a memorable experience for her couples and capturing the entire day as it happens. Couples walk away from their wedding day feeling like they spent their time with an old friend, rather than a professional photographer.
