We feel like this rebrand better reflects the values at the core of what we do and the community whose needs we serve.

Why we did it

We love the community that we’ve built and the stories that we share on the blog and social media. But time and again, our behind-the-scenes conversations came back to the name. Georgian Bay Bride felt too… Narrow. A rebrand, including a name change, felt like growing into a better fit for what we’ve been doing and how we’ve felt all along.

We’re in love with so many things, and we believe that all love is welcome in the Georgian Bay region. We adore our local businesses and the places we live, work, and play. We know that you, our community, feel the same way. Wedding and engagements are still at the core of what we put out there, but we also know there’s more to the story. We made the deliberate choice to change the name to Georgian Bay in Love so that our brand matches up to the multitude of ways that humans share love and connection.

What changes -- and what doesn’t

So, going forward, we are giving a platform to even more unique, vibrant stories.

We’re still a resource for connecting you with talented local folks who can help put together your celebration, whether it’s your dream wedding or 50th-anniversary vow renewal.

We’re still going to be the mix of (wedding) blog, local guide, business directory, and well of inspiration that you’ve told us you return to time and time again.

Our focus on the Georgian Bay region doesn’t change. In fact, we’ll bring you an even broader range of content to get you excited about your time here, whether you’re visiting or you’re a local.

We will still be showing up day after day, week after week. We’ve been blogging for over two years, bringing you fresh content weekly and a real wedding story every month. Our name may have changed, but our commitment to showcasing this beautiful region as the perfect setting for your love story hasn’t. Come along on the journey with us! We can’t wait to share some pretty amazing moments with you.
