Raw Therapy pop up with The Spa Truck & The Bivalve Oyster & Libation Co

Earlier in July, after a pretty full day of working on the blog, we took a bit of a break and headed over to Thornbury Village Craft Cider & Brewhouse to check out a fun evening event. The aptly named Raw Therapy pop up featured relaxing treatments from The Spa Truck and freshly shucked oysters from The Bivalve Oyster & Libation Co plus some great beers, ciders and wines!

The Spa Truck brings the pampering to you in the form of a 1962 vintage air stream trailer. They had a few different treatments on the menu including a head and shoulder massage, an anti-aging hand treatment and a rose quartz facial roll. We indulged in all three of the treatments being offered and was it ever delightful. We both left feeling more relaxed, and inspired to book a full session with them in the near future. We highly recommend the head and neck massage, especially after a long day of staring at a computer screen.

Meanwhile, The Bivalve Oyster & Libation Co was serving up some delicious, fresh oysters. The duo never stopped shucking for a second, and brought an incredibly joyful energy to the patio. They provided fresh horseradish, an onion mignonette, lemon and local hot sauce to enhance the flavours of the oysters. The whole experience was delightful. It was Ashley’s first time enjoying fresh oysters, and it definitely lived up to the hype.

If only every Tuesday could be so pampered!
